FAQs

What types of materials do you engrave?

We source readily available materials and primarily work with wood, slate, leather (including vegan) and some metals. We have the capability to work on many more materials so please send in an inquiry and we can discuss the project specifications you had in mind.

What dimensions of projects are possible to be made?

We work with a fairly small engraving system that has a maximum image size of 3.9”x 3.9”. We can accommodate slightly larger materials as long as they fit on the surface area of our equipment. This means that the standard 4” x 4” coasters are an ideal dimensional fit. We also can work with projects as large as cutting boards but keep in mind that the ideal placement for the text or an image would be on the corner. The equipment we use can also get very fine detail and can engrave legible text on very small a very small work surface.

Can you design the project for me, or do I need to send in a picture?

That is up to you entirely! We can incorporate your favorite picture or specific text and we can put together something we think you’ll love. We can put your wedding picture on a durable metal credit card sized keepsake, or your kids, or engrave a piece of stainless steel aluminum jewelry with your loved ones names or an important date you wish to remember. We also have a catalog of images and funny quotes that would work well for just about any project you could imagine. If you wish to get even more unique with a project, we can use AI or artist created designs.

What is the smallest size of stretch gauges you can engrave?

That is a tricky question. We can do very simple designs on sizes as small as 0g, but most designs will look clearer and can be more complex as the size goes up. On our gallery page I will have some examples of different gauges and will note their size so you have a reference f what could be done on which size.
